Excellent little BYOB pizza place (the also serves sandwiches and desserts on the larger menu). You’ll never just chance your way across this place on a casual drive through Austin as it’s hidden in the middle of a residential area, but it’s worth getting lost to find it. Some pointers: 1. There’s a great little supermarket across the parking lot from their front door where you can grab wine or a six-pack of your choice while your pizza is cooking. 2. Cooler months/days ramp up the number of diners as this is primarily an outdoor seating venue.

Iconic. Crestview is Real Central Austin from the 1950s and Little Deli is the best thing to ever happen to this neighborhood. Pizza is great, grab beer from the Arlan's. Sandwiches are also great; I had their supreme veggie burger and it absolutely satisfied. Get a slice of the day for something new and unique.

The Perfect Pastrami sandwich is phenomenal. My advice would be to eat the sandwiches ASAP as they're not quite as good if they're not hot and fresh (I feel this way about most hot food, to be fair!) The full size is great for a \eat half now and eat the other half for lunch tomorrow\ sort of deal. Also, the chocolate chip cookies are great and you get two with an order. I've always received really pleasant service and interactions from their staff. I'm not originally from Austin, so when my family eventually comes to visit this might have to be the first place I take them!

My bf & I went here to grab some quick dinner & we ordered a couple of sandwich that was so yummy! This was our first time ordering so we got a hot Reuben sandwich and a gourmet Italian sub. It was literally the best choice we both picked. Customer service was nice and kind! I will definitely come back again! Go to this place if you are touring around Austin!!!

Little Deli's \special white\ used to be my favorite Austin pizza. Sadly the experience and the pizza have gotten less special. It's 2021 and they still haven't figured out online ordering. Have to pay over the phone. Woman on the phone asked for a tip. I said \a buck\. Woman on the other end was like \what?\ When I clarified \one dollar\ she was audibly disappointed. What's with the growing expectation that I tip on takeout? If your employer can charge 24 a pizza and open a new location then your wage frustrations should be with them, not me. Also, the special white is becoming less special. It used to be generously coated in some buttery, oily substance. All pizzas I've gotten in the last 18 months or so have been dry. If it's gonna be dry, stop calling it the \special white\ and just call it the \white\. I'm waiting in my car to pick up what will likely be my last not-so-special white. They're 20 minutes late and counting. Hopefully it comes soon. I'm starving and willing to settle for not-so-special.
