This is one of my favorite places to visit in Austin. Its a great place for stargazing. I feel safe but I don't recommend going alone. It's easy to pass up if you haven't been there before but there are plenty of opportunities to make a u-turn

Nice overlook but the city needs to power wash the stone walk way on the overlook. The smell of urine was so bad we could barely stay there 5 min. Put up a sign and start fining loiters who piss everywhere. Besides that you have a few cars sitting there smoking dope. Not my business, not my circus not my monkeys

Nice little spot to stop off at for a scenic over view of downtown Austin. You need to slow down before approaching the turn into this little lay by as there is fast traffic on the main road.

Beautiful spot to stop at and snap some great pictures. If you stop at sunset, the color on the skyline is stunning.
