Excellent first session! Joey was very thorough in reviewing my entire health history with me and understanding my goals and needs. He provided a lot of good feedback and some actionable recommendations allowing me to immediately start working towards my goals. I highly recommend doing the RMR test to know exactly what your body's daily caloric burn is. One of my biggest problems has been understanding what my baseline caloric needs are to know how to adjust my eating. I chose to work with Joey to help me attack pain issues from a nutritional angle and to help me get back into athletic shape; however, it's apparent that he works with a lot of people with health issues like diabetes and obesity. I like that he has a broad breadth of knowledge in nutrition and exercise physiology.
