Often times when I call at 8:00am at the start of business hours when I have a medical issue that I want to schedule an appointment for no one is on the line. One time I even waited until 8:30am to call and it still said I reached them “after business hours.” I was not able to timely schedule an appointment and additionally the lady in front of the schedule desk was super unwelcoming.

Great doctors but impossible to get appointments. There is a firewall between you and practitioners. Meaning, you can not call an office, you call a call center and they do not even tell you the doctor is booked for two months. They take all of your personal information and then tell you the next appointment is in 8 weeks. When you actually get an appointment the facility is incredibly impersonal. You sit in a giant hallway and wait to be admitted into another corridor. If the state of health insurance was not bad enough, this example of modern healthcare is even more depressing. I have a master's in Architecture from UT and I am totally embarrassed but the interfaces and confusion for the user of the building. It is a horrible system. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because it is not the Doctors fault. This is system and design is the opposite of the humanism we need in healthcare.

The health services offered by the University of Texas are phenomenal and a tremendous perk of being a student. From immunizations, wellness exams, mental health and counseling, the University Health Services is affordable and readily available for everyone on campus. The Forty Acres Pharmacy has almost everything you'd need and makes getting prescriptions super easy.

I recieved top class hospitality and Care, I didn't know what I had, but they walked me through it, involving me in the process and recommended what to do after I left their care, totally would go again
