They want top dollar for cars, I didn’t get what I wanted and they said I could make an offer after so I did, I made an offer on 2 trucks. Both times they said no and countered me with a higher price than the “buy it now” listed price on their website. Why have a buy it now price and than say it’s not good enough if you offer that in person? And the guys response was do you know what they go for at the dealer? I don’t think he realizes that this is not a dealership but an AUCTION. all together it’s a rip off. Not worth going. Poor guy bought a 2013 focus for 4500 not realizing that it’s literally the average price for it. After tags and “fees” he definitely spent almost 5500. RIP OFF.

Being able to just walk up and purchase the car you want instead of bidding is awesome! They will also lower the price a bit if you ask. The only complaint is the high fees you pay on top of the cost of the vehicle. My car was 2250, I paid almost 2800 when it was all said and done (no tags or registration included in that price). They have a very nice attendant walking around that they have answering questions and giving whatever history he may have on the vehicle you're browsing. He helped me in making my final decision.
So I went to auction first time 3-4 years ago got a car for no more then 750 but I just went last week and the guy was trying to get everybody to spend over 2000 a lot of people walked out with out a car that day it’s a pandemic going on and on top of that y’all say car bid start at 500 not 2000 all the way false advertising
It use to be good, now it's just high mileage vehicles selling above KBB prices. Five years ago I purchased a nice expedition for 1000, 100k miles. It was worth 5k kbb. I ended up trading that for a new truck 9 months later and got a really good deal. I also purchased a Ford Focus for a friend for 1.2k, with only 70k miles, it was worth 3.5k kbb. That thing still runs like a champ with 140k miles on it now. However, that was 5 years ago. Today I went there for a truck. They wanted 5900 for it, engine had a really bad knock. KBB stated it's worth 5500 for good condition. This vehicle was in poor condition and they wanted 5900. Despite advertising guaranteed engine and trans, they are guaranteed to have problems. Engines will have intermittent miss fires. knocks, or transmissions may be beginning to slip. I inquired about a GMC sonoma, 140k miles. KBB said it's worth 3700 in excellent condition at retail. This was in poor condition, they wanted 3700. It may not show codes today, but a week from now when your going 60 mph on the middle of the highway it will stall and shutdown. What's the point of going to an auction when you can just go buy retail as some retailers will offer a 6000 mile warranty for the same price? Not the place for me. They should stop clearing codes if they are going to guarantee vehicles. They should stop accepting vehicles if the sellers want near or ABOVE KBB it's not fair to the customers and in the long run, you are loosing customers and generating negative goodwill from that!
It was cold. There were over 100 cars and trucks to choose from and the staff were very helpful. I would suggest you have a flashlight if you go to the evening auction as you will need the extra light to check your cars. You do need to know the right questions to ask about the vehicles and the process as some information is not volunteered. The staff, however, will answer any questions that you have and I found them to be honest. The bids were reasonable and there were many great deals. I will return as I had a good experience and found a great deal for my friend.
