I entered the shop following an engine light that flipped on. The first four days were horrible. But ultimately, they came through and I received great and transparent service. In that first four days, I was given little to no insight into my vehicle, or when I could get a rental car. Even after they mentioned haphazardly that my engine needed replacement (!!!!). I didn't trust them at all, and wanted to move my car to a different shop. I had to call them and reach the right person to eventually be given a full run down as to what was going on. From there, the service was great. I believe they handed off my case to somebody else. I received frequent updates (calls, texts). Even though they didn't have rental cars there, they found me one from a nearby service center which was critical for me. My engine is fully replaced, and I feel comfortable with the service that was done. Only improvement I could offer is that everyone wears masks.

I showed up for a scheduled 4:30 appointment to get two recalls done on my car. Figured I’d get an oil change too while I was there. Showed up and was told my wait would be two hours. Which was fine. I expect to wait. I confirmed with the service person that my car would be getting the oil change and two recalls done. At 6:00 they called me to let me know my car was finished. Great. They got it done faster than expected. Except it turns out that the technicians that can do the recall leave at 5. (My appointment was 4:30) so the recalls didn’t get done because the technician didn’t stay to finish the appointment. So it took an hour and a half to get an oil change done (which I typically do myself in my driveway in a third of the time) at over 50 (double what I typically would pay) and the two recalls that I brought it in for weren’t even completed! Absolutely will take my car anywhere else from now on. I’d rather have Walmart change my oil. Or pay a homeless person on the side of the road. As for the recalls, I’ll just wait and see what happens I guess. Maybe my engine won’t blow up this time. Don’t know why a service center open until 7 wouldn’t hold a qualified tech until 7.

Took my daughter's Elantra in for 4 recall repairs. We had made an appointment days ahead. Unfortunately, we had to wait 20 min to speak with anyone, because there were so many unscheduled drive-ins for service. Finally, we were all asked who had an appointment. We waited 5 more minutes, because there was one person with an appointment ahead of us. Once checked in, it all went smoothly. Staff were friendly. I would suggest scheduling any appointments after 8:30am.

Online scheduling to dropoff to pickup was quick and efficient. Only ding was it was pouring rain and no help to the car. Not raining before I went in to answer that question.

I worked with Eddie Jean and he has been great. Even after I have purchased my vehicle, he made sure I was still satisfied and has been helping me with other things, like getting my unconnected services established and checking on my new plates.

Left Gainesville Kia to get better service here. Will not be returning to Kia. May even trade van for Kona . Thanks for great service.

Would recommend knowing exactly what you want before going. If you do not there's a good you will be a victim of an upsale for services you don't actually need. Recently I went for a standard 30k service. I asked for the factory recommended service, listed in the owners manual if you need to find it. The tech then pointed to a package and said, "that's what this package is." No, it wasn't. The package was what the dealer recommended. After declining the unnecessary services I got the work done only to find they charged me for little things I didn't ask for ( like windshield washer fluid) and they didn't do things I specifically asked for (making sure the tire pressure was correct.) You at least need to get the little things right if you expect me to listen to all your up-selling. The service is disappointing.
