THE WORST SHUTTLE SERVICE EVER! Avoid avoid avoid! I scheduled a departure from Budapest to Belgrade for 10:00AM with Autoturist. I called at 9:00AM (as they request) to confirm the exact departure time. I was told the vehicle would arrive at 12:30 --- 2.5 hours later than the original time! The vehicle did not arrive at 12:30. I called at 12:50 to check the status and I was told to keep waiting. After several more calls, the vehicle finally arrived at my address at 1:45PM --- 3 hours 45 minutes after the original departure estimate! The vehicle stopped 2 more times to pick up more passengers before we finally started the route to Belgrade. After missing my flight by two hours, the company did not offer ANY compensation (or apology) for the cost of hotel and re-booking of flights! They also refused to drive us to the airport in the morning to help make the experience suck less. I argued on the phone with a manager for 15 minutes while he created lies that I \cancelled\ the reservation and rebooked for a later departure. Total travel time from Budapest to Belgrade with Autoturist: 7 hours! Google estimates travel time should be 4.5 hours. I never write reviews, but this is honestly the worst travel service I have ever experienced! Save yourself a few euros, a few hours, and a LOT of stress --- take a train or bus instead. At least then you will know when to be picked up and when you will arrive.
