These guys are great to work with. Even if you don't rent or do anything with them, they will still help you and let you know the best places to float on the beaver. this is great customer service. awesome place!

Have been canoeing here twice. Good rates and they get you loaded up and to the water quickly. When you reach the end of the trip you just leave your canoe (if you rented it) on the bank and you are done. There is a small Mom & Pop store there that has just about everything you could want or need. It's a great time and a good way to spend some time outdoors in nature.

Nice place. Money hungry owners. Nickel and dime you for everything possible.

My experience with Beaver Creek Canoe Rentals left me feeling unprepared and unsafe to kayak. I had kayaked on lakes, so I thought I was up for this 5 mi. float. The natural beauty and ease quickly turned deadly as I was not prepared to maneuver a curve and current that left me pinned by my kayak to a fallen tree. I felt my life was endangered and it left me shaken. If not for the help of my friend I could not have recovered. The owners were sorry for my experience, willing to consider my suggestions, but unwilling to refund my . My thoughts... Renters should be screened and advised based on their skill level. Markers in addition to verbal warnings of dangerous curves could save lives. I was told "No, it's private land." Recommendations as to geer should be given prior to. In hindsight, aqua socks were essential. When I lost my flip flops I couldn't walk the gravel beds to get my footing. Costs add up. At 38. at least a dry bag could be provided and attached. I lost my shorts, flip flops, towel and expensive sunglasses. All these things could have prevented a beautiful adventure gone bad.

Would not recommend. The owners are not friendly at all - very rude an unwelcoming. They hunch over you making sure you're not breaking any of their "rules" that they tend to make up on the spot. The place is right under the highway with loud trucks rolling by. The camp sites next to the creek didn't even have good access to the creek because it wasn't mowed very well. Everything was over priced. I was really disappointed.

Rented canoes for a family float trip. Owners were incredibly helpful and friendly! Grounds were well kept. It was an easy, family friendly float. Will definitely canoe here again.

Beware of this creek. It narrows into tight rapids and there are large downed trees blocking your path. You will tip over. Do yourself a favor and go to Bennett Springs. It is well maintained and you will Not tip over. This is my opinion and my Wife's. Yours May vary.
