Very disappointed in Kati and Avec Construction. Kati wasted two months of our time after we signed an estimate and were waiting for the job to be scheduled, we were told it would be scheduled in the next month. Got an email from Kati a month later that they would not be able to schedule the job till 2021 due to staff shortages and other jobs that have experienced delays and such. All this time had passed and we waited patiently. If we used another company our small job would be finished by now. Now we have to start over and find another contractor to do a simple job. I would not recommend Avec due to lack of professionalism and respecting other people's time.

AVEC construction replaced our old deck with a beautifully designed and constructed screen porch. At the beginning of the process, AVEC owner Kati Tolonen met with us to learn about our hopes and expectations for the project. She then provided excellent options for design and materials. She was a stalwart supporter through a long and complicated process of getting a Use Permit from our country. The project was completed on time and within budget in two weeks and one day. The crew was highly skilled and engaged us as much as we wanted to be as the work was done. We are extremely happy with the result, as are our neighbors. We have built and remodeled several homes in the past. Our experience with AVEC construction was light years ahead of that with earlier contractors.
