Der wunderschön in die Natur eingebundene Segelflugplatz liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Dänemark und zum Emil-Nolde-Museum. Der Platz ist nur für Segelflug,Motorsegler und Fallschirmspringen zugelassen. Motorflieger mit Schleppkupplung dürfen auch landen.
