Although I booked an automatic car but still not available when I picked up. After running around each rental company, I couldn’t afford 3 times of the price to pay at the counter. So I went back to Avis, I can tell the nice lady and the gentlemen really want to help, they tried to call up to check if any location had automatic available but no much confirmation during New Year’s Eve. However, I had to drive a manual car to another city for trying my luck on automatic car. I really appreciate the lady who was care enough to practice manual car with me in the parking lot until I’m comfortable with it, and she called me up the next day to make sure that I’m okay. Something unpredictable may come up during traveling, but big thanks to your kindness and helps!️

A horrible experience, I would describe as lower than lowest possible service, they did not have the car reserved and tried to up sale me on a similar model, which I refused and backed me into a van which was the only thing left and totally inappropriate for my trip to the mountain, they tried to tell me I didn't reserve a baby car seat when it was written black on white in my reservation confirmation. An extremely rude staff very poorly educated and with no manners, probably all raised in a barn, they made myself, my elderly mother and my wife and infant walk under pouring rain to pick up the van in a lot down from their office, did not want to explain how it functioned, nor help installing the car seat. If I could give minus 10 stars I would.

I didn’t rent a car, so cannot comment on that. I arrived very late at night with a delayed train from Barcelona and couldn’t find my uber who only spoke French. I asked the man at the desk to speak to my uber driver in French and with his help I was able to find my uber! Lifesaver. Thankyou!

Just been scammed. I dropped the car off absolutely no damage And with a full tank of fuel, put the keys in the drop-off box and had to catch a flight. Just found a charge of 345 on my credit card !!!!! Will be taking this further - do not use !!!!

I'm so sorry I didn't get the name of the man that helped us, but this agency went above and beyond to help out my daughter and me. My 9 year old daughter accidentally dropped our airbnb apartment key down the dropbox at the Avis central station. Someone from the TGV Avis location DROVE over to help us out. They are amazing and we are so grateful.
