Certainly one of the BEST restaurants in Avignon. I worked in the hotel industry and would send most of my clients there because it never disappoints. Superb quality for the price and the courtyard is simply magical as well as the inside. The lighting was magical and giant trees beautiful in the mood lighting.

My family had a wonderful lunch here today sitting outside. Service was efficient and friendly. We were the only Americans. Mostly locals here. Their plate of the day was roasted chicken falling off the bone with delish mashed potatoes. The green curry was beautifully presented and yummy. The quinoa salad with avocado, pomegranate seeds and a light dressing was another winner. Prices were reasonable but not cheap. We paid about 14 euro per entree. Worth it for a relaxing, wonderful lunch. We are already planning to go back while we are here.

Wow, I’m so happy we found this place and it was open. The food was the best we had in Avignon. Every dish was creative, well thought out and wonderfully executed. Each dish was amazing and delicious. The cod with coconut curry was sublime, the Risotto with ceps was savory and perfectly cooked, the duck with confit was sweet and yummy. We finished with 4 different desserts, all wonderful. You cannot go wrong with anything you eat here, and Nikola (the owner) is very sweet and accommodating!! Thank you Nikola for creating this beautiful space and wonderful food!!!!

Delightful experience at Le Violette for a leisurely lunch today. Very friendly and helpful service, a unique and sophisticated Asian inspired menu and refined surroundings.
Interesting and very tasty menu. Treat yourself to the goat cheese salad and the watermelon and raspberry smoothie.
