Ferrera Park also known as the park of the Marquise (of Ferrera) it is a real jewel and an amazing park. It was part of the palace of the Marquise of Ferrera (currently a Hotel) and it was opened to the public in 1976 after being purchased by the Council of Aviles. It has 5 entries and it closes at 11pm. The park has a trail for exercise very popular, a pond very popular with seagulls, specially during rainy days and a zone for kids. The park deserves better maintenance though as you can see for the old posts, bins... It seems a lot of trees have been lost due to storms and not sure if they have ever been replaced. There is a fountain from 1887. It is an amazing space with a lot of potential if it was managed a bit better.

Nice and quiet, perfect for a Sunday walk.
Beautiful park in downtown Aviles. Good for a stop if you are visiting with kids or looking for a place to do some exercise.
Nice park in the center of Avelis. It has a small lake with beautiful birds. There is a nice area for children to play as well. Worth a stop to relax and enjoy the nature.
