On week days during this period the beach if patrolled by Gosford City Life Guards. Surf Sports Avoca Beach have one of the largest and oldest clubs on the central coast with active surf sports happening at all ages from Nippers, Open and Masters categories. We welcome and encourage athletes of all ages and levels to join in our regular training sessions and carnivals. Nippers Nippers at Avoca Beach is all about providing children with confidence, skills and understanding of the beach and surf environment.  We are focused on providing a fun, safe environment to deliver our nippers the necessary tools to become excellent future lifesavers.  Avoca Nippers do consistently well at carnivals.
