Spent many moons here wishing I wasn’t stuck in church but great childhood memories. The Reverend Schoonmaker was our guy, back in the 80s. It’s a traditional New England congregational church. Very vanilla but welcoming. In adulthood I don’t partake in organized religion but it’s a great piece of New England history if you want to go look at something that has been around for over 100 years.We did my father’s funeral there, my sister’s wedding. Great memories.

Michelle Troconis is celebrated here due to the church being an extreme example of the \Open and Affirming\ fad common with people who like going to church but don't actually like following God or the Bible. Usually \Open and Affirming\ churches are very selective about which of Gods laws to cherrypick and not follow. This one is even weirder as it seems they are ok with adding murder to the list of biblical sins to \leave out\ and ot worry about\ as Michelle Troconis is championed and welcomed here. Why call yourself a Christian church if you don't actually follow God or the Bible?
