Today was the first time we have used Avon Boating, and we loved every moment of it, prices were good and staff are all friendly, helpful and professional, their instructions were clear and spot on. A Member of staff named Barry was responsible for controlling the queues, he was very helpful and answered everyone's questions with great deal of patience in a professional manner as there were a few young families with kids that were trying boating for the first time. Spent a pleasent hour rowing along the river, stunning views, highly recommend it

Thoroughly enjoyed the 40 minutes River tour yesterday. Very scenic and relaxing. Deck hand pointed out areas of interest along the route and shared his local knowledge. Boat was cleaned and sanitised before guests boarded and hand sanitisers for guests to use on boarding. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

The best place for boat hire. The views are fantastic all the way down the river. The prices are very fair aswell. The rowers are particularly good value at 7 pound for an hour per person. I've been here 10 times and will 100% be back.

For our first boat outing since lockdown, the canoes we usually rent are not available so we tried a motor boat and had a great time! Avon Boating are sensibly restricting everyone to a 30 minute hire to make sure everyone gets a go. Everything was disinfected in front of us before we took the boat out and it was a real delight to tootle up to the Old Bathing Place and back on a tranquil stretch of the river. Kind and helpful staff too. Worth every penny

We did this trip a year ago and really enjoyed it. This time there is no commentary which makes the trip a little pointless. Reasons due to corona but there are speakers on board and the deck hand was a waste of space who thought all she had to do was text on her phone. We went to question why they are still charging full price only to be told they need to make a profit. Personally I wouldn't recommend this trip at this time

Fantastic boat hire, to be able to easily hire a motorboat and go up and down the Avon is brilliant. Highly recommended.

Me and my friend visited last year during the month of August when it was hot, the original plan was to hire a motorboat but it was 25 for half hour so we took the rowing boat instead and had so much fun, my hubby was doing the rowing and i was steering he was going quicker than the motorboats i accidentally steered into some low level branches where we got stuck we both was laughing so much and really having a super time when we finally got out we went back to the dock half hour late and apologize to the nice man and offered to pay extra and he said there was no need to so we thanked him for a great day and went to get a strong coffee. If we could give you more the 5 stars we would, Thankyou so much for a great day we are never going to forget this experience x
