Very good and caring team here. We've been seeing them as our vet for about 20 years now (!!) and have always felt the wee beasties were well looked after. They helped us manage some serious issues with a number of the guys and we're deeply appreciative of there commitment and compassion.

Bless Dr. Rosely, Kira, Laura and the staff at Avonlea:) My little man, Butterscotch, a 16 year old Scottish Fold, has been a patient of Dr. Rosely for more than ten years. I know I can trust his care to these wonderful and truly dedicated professionals. Buddy (short for Butterscotch... and because he is the best buddy anyone could ever ask for) just had a small surgery today and now he is home and doing great! When he was diagnosed with fatty liver disease a couple of years ago I told Dr. Rosely that I planned to syringe feed him by hand for as long as it took for him to recover. She was so encouraging and supportive and made me feel like the best cat mom ever for taking on this task. I fed him like this for over 8 months and we both loved his feeding times so much that I still feed him by hand a year and a half later. Kira, who is a very knowledgeable vet tech, even babysat Buddy and our 19 year old border collie, Snoop, for a week which allowed us to take a short vacation. She is the only person I would have trusted to take the time and care to syringe feed him multiple times a day for 7 days:) Laura, at the front desk, always has a big welcoming smile for us and keeps track of all his weigh-ins. These folks who take care of our precious pets deserve all the praise and gratitude in the world:) Many thanks from Susan and Ian
I was in desperate need of medicated shampoo. I spoke to Carly and said she would check and return my call. She had 2 in her cllinic and also found one in an associated clinic. She had the third one transferred to her clinic and quickly shipped them to me in Kingston. Carly is a very kind and caring person. Thank you very much!
My journey with Dr. Rosely and the Avonlea Animal Hospital started over 17 years ago when a tiny dog with a huge personality decided to adopt us as her family, and I was looking for a vet. Four years later, I wanted to get a miniature schnauzer for my son. It was Dr. Rosely that told me about a breeder. The task to choose a puppy from a group fell on my daughter. I'm not sure if it was her who chose Rex, or if he chose us. We ended up with the perfect puppy with an enormous heart. Over the past 17 years, Dr. Rosely and the team were an important part of our family. They helped us with all of the needs of my dogs, Kropka and Rex. We could count on them in any situation. I am very thankful for every staff member at Avonlea for taking the time and helping us for many years and especially the most recent years. First we lost Kropka unexpectedly, and then Rex became very sick. They listened patiently and helped us with every problem that my dogs had. I called them many times and they always made time for us. Thank you to Dr. Rosely, Kiera, Laura, Carly, and everyone else who supported us at the clinic. I am forever grateful for all of your support. I highly recommend this team to anyone who has animals in their family.
Best veterinary care ever, they went above and beyond in the care of our cat. Taking him home over the weekend when in was so ill.
