Excellent service, delicious food. The children's menu included a roast dinner option, which you could choose from beef, pork or turkey. It was so nice to have a healthy option for out 10 month old son. We will be back for sure.

We have been to Farmers in around six years, as we had moved away, but we took a friend out with us today we all enjoyed our various meals. I had the sweet and sour meatballs, and the others had the roast pork dinner special and the big double cheeseburger, which was super thick; she actually only ate it with one patty. Hubby had the lemon meringue pie which he really enjoyed and he is quite picky when it comes to whether it is properly balanced between sweet and sour and I had the fudge, which was perfect in my mind. We sat out in the back room facing the farm today, which was quieter than the other area and very bright. Both servers were wonderful and friendly and very "down-home hospitable". We always enjoyed eating here before and loved the homemade bread. We were given a bread bowl with three rolls and I believe one was whole wheat and the others were white and brown, so we split them so we could try everything. They were nice and fresh and really tasty like the buns our mothers used to make. We will definitely be back!
Amazing food and friendly staff. Had the Colossal Club.... It lives up to its name! And bread is made right at the restaurant. It's sooo good! Highly recommended and will absolutely be back.
Stopped after the zoo to check out this diner that was new to my boyfriend and I. We were greeted by a friendly lady at the front door. Ordered a clubhouse and a hot hamburger sandwich which is all made on delicious homemade bread. If you’re hungry this is DEFINITELY the place to go, large portions that are well worth the price. Amazing!! ... We will 100% be returning, and bringing family here!!
The go-to delish spot for lunch after you've wandered around Oaklawn Farm Zoo in Aylesford NS. Home of the Colossal Clubhouse sandwich. Got a plate to split with my partner and we still couldn't finish it. Great desserts and goodies available for purchase as well! You might even meet one of the local pooches ready to greet in the large outdoor picnic area!
Ordered the burger, very tasty, good size, got the onion rings for no extra charge. Lots of those too. Friendly service and a homey atmosphere.
The portions are huge! Service was very friendly, the prices are a bit steep but worth it. Barney the Bernese Mountain Dog just makes the experience even better!
