We had solar panels and a battery installed by Light Renewables in March 2019. They were so knowledgeable, helpful and a good competitive price. Any follow up questions were dealt with promptly and they helped with advice about the government feed in tariff as well. Just called them to ask about a 2nd battery and again, prompt and helpful. They have so much experience and knowledge in this field which is so reassuring. couldn't be more pleased.

Very pleased with the service i have received from this company. I had some panels re fitted and a battery added to the system. Never been able to talk to a solar company without them just wanting to sell a new one, not any longer! These guys are very knowledgable, and will work to get what is right for the customer. Brad the electrician was a total professional, with care for his customer, and Daryl has answered evrything i asked of him thoughtfully and with great knowledge of his products. If ever i need anything else to do with solar pv, i wouldnt go anywhere else.

I am pleased to say what a fantastic job light renewables have done with the installation of solar panels to my new built property Having little knowledge about solar energy and looking to save on energy costs on the future of living in my new home they were able to describe everything to me in great detail and all the benefits I would receive with having solar panels fitted Daryl and his team arrived on the day of install and were very friendly positive people which made me feel confident about the works being carried out All the works was carried out professionally from the beginning to the end and I would highly recommend this company to anyone else looking to have solar panels fitted to their property

Avoid Light renewable at all cost. Cowboys that get paid and do not complete the work. A year from installation and they never registered us on a government scheme as originally agreed. They damage our roof during installation and we only found out after water ingress on a brand new property. They did not notify us for the damage. They never assist us to download the monitor application as originally agreed. We are preparing a small court claim for the money we lost as we did not registered to any government scheme hence the electricity produced gets wasted. Our last email to Mark as follows: Mark, I am really disappointed with how low work ethics you and your company has and the lack of professionalism. It seems that is a cowboy work from the beginning as you wanted to get paid and never complete the work. We will make a claim against your company as you failed to provide the services agreed. You failed to provide us with the application to record the electricity we produce and also you failed to register us with the electricity provider as we originally agreed. You also give us false information that you could backtrack the previous government scheme as you knew that this is a new building hence an EPC would not be backdated. You also failed to register us to the new scheme and you are not providing the information requested to do it ourselves costing us thousands of pounds as the production of electricity from the panels is wasted not being able to store it or distribute it to the network. Your team also broke several tiles on the roof when installing the panels, as a result, we had water ingress in the property. We have photos before and after the installation to prove that. You will get a small claims court real soon and I will see you in court.

Dealing with Light Renewables was like pulling my own teeth AFTER I made the mistake of paying them on installation. Took 3 weeks for the scaffolding to come down. 6 weeks for the warranty documentation to arrive. I call them to chase for these more than I call my wife and mother combined. I view this as real shame because Daryl seems like a really nice chap who has the right intentions. My advice - do not agree to pay more than 50% till all documents have been delivered and the system is up and running satisfactorily. Assuming that's how you proceed, they are fully capable of supplying the best available hardware on the market and I would recommend them. Pay everything upfront at your own peril.

Light renewable are not a reliable company. They are not responding to our emails and we cant get registered to a government scheme.
