I had the Turkey Shepherds Pie special, and it was quite possibly the best shepherds pie I've ever had!! And my waitress Helen was pretty awesome as well. Always such a kind, helpful person. Amazing restaurant!!

Great food, reasonable prices, phenomenal service, small-town vibes... What else could you wish for in a small-town eatery and local hub? This is my go-to place for breakfast, lunch, or supper in Aylmer. Hands-down the best service you'll get in town!! Keep up the great work!
I dined for 2 tonight, and the both of us were well pleased. Courteous, friendly staff accommodated our mask exemptions with smiles, and we were seated, and served promptly. In our dining room the decor did lack, but this is my only critique. We each had one of two dinner specials: Pickerel, and Beef Milanese. The fish had a thin crispy breading. The Milanese, was also crispy and very flavorful, with the additional (and recommended), mushroom gravy. They were both accompanied by a bean & corn vegetable medley, and mashed potatoes, which were hot, and delicious with an ample portion of beef gravy for each. Each meal also was preceded by an option of soup or salad, both of which satisfied, especially the soup. The meals were delicious, and had hot, fresh, and hearty proportions, that left the two of us pleased. The prices were fair, and present a strong value for the experience. I definitely recommend Johnny's Restaurant, and look forward to returning.
