We stayed just one night, but we will be back. Its located close to the lake varese ( approx. 20 min by feet). We found it very easily (in daylight) and could park our car in the yard. The dogs greeted us but were friendly as lambs and left us quickly alone. The rooms are full of light and very clean, decorated with a love for detail. We had aperitiv in front of the house which is nicely surrounded by an ivy covered wall and palm trees. They served us dinner in the courtyard in the back of the estate. The backyard is everyones dream of an hidden romantic backyard in italy- full of ivy and flowers. The dinner was fantastic, the meat was as tender as butter. For desert they served us crepe suzette which the waiter flambeed directly in front of us. We slept like Babys in the bed. cannot recommend this family run hotel enough, they made sure we felt very much at home even just for one night.

Not really a hotel. Just a rustic experience. I loved it, my 3 companions did not. Breakfast is a pot of yoghurt! Terrible for business trip, not bad for holiday
Beautiful renovated Italian farm house. Fabulous bed room in mezzanine floor. It's very difficult to find the location in the night. Need navigation or Google map.
La Locanda dei Maintees. E semplicemente incantevole un posto molto elegante romantico. Da provare la cucina squisita. I padroni della Locanda. Molto cordiali ti fanno sentire a casa .
Cibo Ottimo! Posto molto bello ed aggraziato...costicchia ma ne vale la pena.
Molto molto particolare e bella .. un posto dove passare delle belle serate rilassanti con dell'ottima musica e dell'ottima cucina ...la signora Carlotta dinamica e molto cordiale
Bellissimo! Sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo e ti aspetti di veder spuntare da un momento all'altro una dama col suo cavaliere...arredi originali d'epoca (non medioevali) che la proprietà ha lasciato in loco in quella che è sempre stata la casa, delle vacanze, di famiglia. Stanze e suites in cui si mescolano alla perfezione antichità e modernità. Lounge bar in cui ascoltare musica dal vivo sorseggiando un buon bicchiere di vino, di cognac o di whisky. Il mio soggiorno è durato un solo week end, ma di sicuro ci tornerò!
Splendido elegante e molto riservato è un posto dove si mangia veramente bene tutto è curato nel minimo dettaglio . Senza contare l'ambiente davvero raffinato
