We go here pretty regular. We love the food (especially the oven made pizza). But we are also always super happy with the staff and the way we get treated! The aquarium is a really big plus

A good range of food within the menu, always has plenty of meals to select from and new dishes added by the chefs all the time. Enjoy this place, reasonably priced. Nice place, was shown to our table quickly. Location very convenient for an instant lunch time, will be going to again. Server catered to my each and every requirements, would definitely recommend.
Restaurant is authentic Italian (even won awards from the Italian government for representing Italy positively outside of its borders). The service was excellent, the pizza as well. The salad was weak however, and charging 6.20 CHF for a 0.5 l bottle of water reaches the limits towards insanity. Parking spaces are bad (2 parking spots next to restaurant), and in countries like Switzerland where the weather is mostly bad, this is a big negative point too. The prices for the rest of the menu ranged from reasonable to expensive, but nevertheless, if you ever find yourself in Bern and feel like eating Italian, this is the place to go to first. Also, beautiful bathroom and extremely clean!
We were hungry from wondering the streets of Bern looking for hot chocolate to drink but decided upon some Italian instead! Both of us were big fans of seafood and we were certainly not disappointed! Taking the number 12 bus just 5 minutes outside of the Old City Bern was the wonderful Azzurro Italian restaurant! The pizza dough was soft and chewy, the presentation immaculate, the sauce flavourful and seafood plentiful! Would definitely have ordered a pasta to share too if we had the room!
