Been there twice for lunch recently. Loved it. The food was perfect (seniors menu). The service was very good. Staff were very friendly and polite. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Surprising little restaurant with delicious simple food with no dish over 20 and the food was great
As a Melbourne home builder for over 32 years, I have visited many suburbs and towns in Victoria, and eaten in many of its fine restaurants. But I can not say the same about Back To Bacchus Restaurant. My family and I were appalled by the quality of our meal that was served. My partner had fish and chips and I had what I thought would be a simple grilled fish. My fish was overcooked to the point it didn't taste like fish and hard as rock, and my partners fish was under cooked with undercooked batter. Even though we informed the young and arrogant male that charged us the full amount for our uneaten meal, there was little understanding or care given. I can clearly state that we will not recommend this restaurant to any of our staff or family or friends.
We love this place. Great menu, great prices and great service.
Great food for the budget conscious
I've eaten here on a couple of occasions and based on my experience, the food is not too expensive, but neither is it modern or creative. Most dishes come with chips and salad. It's quite standard, unremarkable fare. The decor fits the food - it's popular among older clientele. The service is friendly and prompt. It's not bad, it's just just average, in the true sense of the word.
Nice place to catch up with friends. Good food at very reasonable prices
Fantastic customer service and tasty food at a very reasonable price. My favourite is the chicken scallopine.
