We hiked to Bad Ausse from Obertraun. It's a perfect walk even for a rainy day because you are mainly in the forest. We were the only guests in Kammerhod Museum and it was wonderful! There are very various exhibitions from local culture, fashion, customs to the archeological excavations. And it's also made with a dosis of humor, I recommend to learn Paschen ;)

Nice, small museum telling the local story, but unfortunately often in the local language. Worth visiting anyway if you don't speak German, it is cheap and interesting
