We went there for bachata on a Sunday and it had a fantastic level!! 100% recommended. A bit far from Barcelona centre (EUR 28 by taxi one way)

This review is intended for international salsa dancers. The venue is lovely and the music is mostly good, albeit a bit loud and shamelessly directed at the "Latin party" crowd. note: *Do NOT arrive before midnight*. Friday night is a "family" party which means a small crew of very cool and interesting characters mixed with very drunk weirdos who mostly come to socialize / drink with people they already know. Which is a bit unique compared to other salsa parties globally where people are much more open and interested in...well...dance. There is such an impressive ratio of space here, the crowd just doesn't fit the grandiose venue. I've been told Sunday is a much bigger and bolder dance party with as many as 1500 dancers. I find it hard to believe -considering Friday night amounted to maybe 50 or 60 people. I should add that I did have a few really awesome dances (mostly by the DJ or instructors) However, in general, I would skip Friday unless you find it anthropologically interesting to witness a painfully introverted, oddly apologetic and adorably bashful dance scene which I must say- is truly a unique phenomenon!
