I spent great time at this bar for many many times. I remembered that I watched the football game of World Cup in 2018 at this place. On that night, it was Germany vs Korea, and quite astonishingly, Korea wins that night.

The deco is nice and rustic. Staff were helpful and courteous. For food wise, maybe we ordered too much fried staff but special mention must be made for the pork knuckles, soft shell crab and the sausage platter. Very nice. It felt bit hard going after a while but it was more to our food choice. We were tad disappointed that the lamb and steak were not available. The standout dish was the shift shell crab. One of the most juicy, biggest and nicest. Overall , a pleasant experience with my young family on a rainy afternoon.
Ordered the ginger ale for sgd 5. Had a great time laughing with friends. They didnt chase me away even though we sat for like 5.5h
The worst place to drink alcohol and eat good. It was expensive for what you get All fake drinks. Instead of going to this place go to a good hawker center.
Nowadays u have to order a food to go with the drinks. I recommend the calamari rings going at 9. Crispy, but you can tell the calamari is frozen for quite some time from the texture. HH ends at 8pm but overall drinks are still reasonably priced. Great place to chill on weekdays as there is nt much crowd as compared to before.
Apparently they have New owners. No more 1 for 1 beers .. it is now HappyHour prices instead .. still quite Dingy furnishings.. sticky tables .. Paulaner would be a Better place for German Food in Sg ..
Nice, cheerful and friendly staff. A good place to hang around with friends.
We went one week after phrase 2, the tables were definitely not 1 meter distance from other tables! We were sitting at high chairs, I can easily reach my neighbor’s shoulder! And when it is full house, you can imagine how bad the air circulation would be, when just 1 customer are infected... oh boy.... I’ll not go back again until they practice safe distance and politeness. Good luck guys, if you are going....
