Sanskriti is a non profit social change organization set up in 2007 to make a difference in society. It is taking up education as a tool for the transformation of society. Our main initiatives: 1) Career guidance seminar and fellowship – Education is definitely a complete solution to long term society problems. If we look at the education in our country, there is a huge pool of students who don’t get proper higher education, who don’t reach to colleges. An individual must get good quality school education then should be led to university to understand a better meaning for education and to lead a life of a responsible citizen. Moreover, the dropout rate is very high and millions of children are out of school. We decided to work and impact on the higher education in India. We organize career guidance seminars for students to guide them for a brighter future for a sustainable change in society. Sanskriti has designed a complete fellowship program for career guidance which ultimately guides a pool of students in class to the desired career of their choice. 2) Sanskriti centre/Library- Sanskriti centre is concept of an education hub which will be a place for career guidance, computer education, latest job updates, women empowerment activities and a reading space for the community in rural area. A library could be a best place to start changing a community. We also focus on opening the libraries at the community level and for the schools run by NGOs. We have opened libraries in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Assam under this initiative. 3) Spread a Smile – We work with Orphanages, old age homes, differently able people to support them in the best way we can. We are partnered with many such organizations to support them continuously. Sanskriti volunteers visit such people regularly. We celebrate various festivals at orphanages and take care of all the education needs of children.
