Hazrat Sayyid Shah Barkatullah Marehrwi (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) was born on the 26th of Jamadil Aakhir 1070 Hijri in Bilgiraam Shareef. His father was Hazrat Sayyid Shah Uwais (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho), who was a very great Wali of his era. His forefather Hazrat Abul Farah (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) came to India and after his wisaal, his grandson Hazrat Sayyid Shah Muhammad Sughra (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) came to India. Sultan Shamsudeen Al Tamish had great respect for him and honoured him with an army equal to the Raaja of Bilgiraam, and sent him to conquer the city. Hazrat Sayyid Muhammad Sughra (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) conquered Bilgiraam and turned the hearts of many towards Islam, firmly planting the flag of Islam in Bilgiraam. Sultaan Shamsudeen Al Tamish was very pleased and gave Bilgiraam to him as his property. Hazrat then summoned the rest of his family to Bilgiraam.

Salar masud was general of Mahmud of Ghaznawi, who demolished Somnath and Mathura temple... He was Defeated by King Suheldev of Shrawasti. This place is built on a Surya Mandir. Ironically Hindu visit this place built to commemorate a Hindu genocider.

SAIYED AKHLAK ALI

Ghazi Saiyyad Salar Masud or Ghazi Miyan(1014 – 1034 CE) was a Muslim saint from India. By the 12th century, Salar Masud had become reputed as a warrior-saint, and his tomb (dargah) at Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, India, had become a place of pilgrimage. The main source of information about him is the historical romance Mirat-i-Masudi ("Mirror of Masud"), a Persian-language hagiography written by Abdur Rahman Chishti in the 1620s. According to this biography, he was a nephew of the Ghaznavid ruler Mahmud, and accompanied his uncle in the conquest of India during early 11th century. However, the Ghaznavid chronicles do not mention him, and other claims in Mirat-i-Masudi are also of doubtful historicity.
