We spent NYE 2020 there and management kindly allowed us to bring in our own music because no entertainment was provided. Play room for kids and an enjoyable time was had by all
Most RSLs are dependable for getting a good feed at reasonable prices, and the Bairnsdale RSL is no exception. The steak was cooked well, if a little overdone for my liking but the thin-ish porterhouse steak was tender enough. The fish & chips was also good. Drinks prices were as expected. Service came with smiles.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. The club looks fairly modern and is well laid out. There is plenty of off street parking. There is a fairly large dining area which has a bistro and bar. It is separated from the gaming area which has its own bar. We were there fairly late for lunch so were unable to have our first choice of meal (rissoles). So, we decided to try the Irish pork sausages. Each meal cost 12 and they were really tasty. We were there on a Thursday and each patron in the club received free tickets in 7 meat tray raffles. We were lucky enough to win one and it was one of the best meat trays we've seen. We enjoyed our time at this club and would recommend it for a meal and a drink.
Dropped in for lunch, had the lasagne, for a 12 lunch special was ok but a bit too much bechamel, have been there many times and really can't complain about the food, wait staff were friendly and courteous and the Pines summer ale was good, wife had the seafood and was happy, 12 lunch represents good value and you may get lucky with the meat raffle tickets free with lunch purchase.

Country hospitality, In this COVID craziness it was good to be able to have a good feed of freshly cooked favourites while still remaining COVID safe with the rules the RSL have instigated. Highly recommend
