We love this place!! One of our regular spots. Perfect coffee and cake and Brunch. So much to choose from. Vegan friendly The Afternoon Teas look incredible! We even got them to make our wedding cake.

One of my favourite happy places to go!!!!! Love the people, the decor and of course the scrumptious food and best lattes ever !!!!!! Envious of those castleford folk having this on their doorstep!!!️️
Decided to take a ride out after seeing this place on social media so went over for a breakfast treat, but it definitely wasn’t what I expected. Firstly, it really doesn’t look like how it’s represented through its social media pages! I can’t comment on cakes/sandwiches although these looked delicious, but the breakfast items we ordered were really nice. Hot drinks are served in small tumblers which are not practical and only held a few mouthfuls only. Unfortunately the let down is the general eatery itself, cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I appreciate the place is perhaps going for a rustic/industrial look, but it does lean more towards being rundown and slightly scruffy and in need of a good revival. First impressions on our visit, looking over the few available tables to sit at was, crumbs, used cutlery on the floor, dirty chairs and leftover bits of food on tables and side shelf which I had to clean myself before I sat down. Unfortunately a build up of grubby finger marks on mucky walls and menus is really not something I like to see and lastly, dirty cutlery given to use with your meal is hugely off putting. The serving counter needs the equipment taking off and cleaning down thoroughly as spilled coffee grind has built up at the side of the machine which is customer facing. Perhaps a deep clean is something that needs to be arranged more frequently. A fresh lick of paint, certainly a sweep and wipe of seating areas would be welcomed in between customers, and this would be helped by having more than one serving member available at any one time. It’s a shame as the food appears to be good and the one individual who we saw that served us was nice but rushed and it could be a great coffee shop. Based on my initial, experience I’d be reluctant to return unless there were better improvements made on the cleanliness.
The food is always amazing here with so much on offer with a forever changing counter.
What a great cafe. The food was very good. Quite a delightful place for a coffee, toast and cake....and vegan options too if. Well done.
