I have been having issues with my bill increasing substantially over the past couple of years. After it reached &150 or more I contacted customer service and was told I had a leak somewhere in my home. We found the issue, a running toilet in our spare bathroom. The leak has been addressed but the bill is now almost 180. I tried speaking to someone about the increase again and they said it is from the sewage portion because it’s factored on water consumption. I can’t get anyone to help me and I feel it’s wrong that you can’t get proper customer service. I’m buying a home here and can’t just move. I will be contacting someone higher up or the news to get some light on the issues, Baker Utilities has to do better for the people.

Baker Utilities is the worst I have ever encountered!!!!! How do you run a business and no one ever answer the phone? How do you have customer service and not service the customer? if you leave a message with the answering service and still don't receive a call back! I am exhausted with Baker Utilities and whoever is the Director, Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead your doing a poor piss job.
Paid my water bill on a Wednesday woke up Thursday to no water some how their mistake was my fault. Talked to not one but two of their representatives one told me they would get someone out right away one told me after 5:30pm. It's now 8:41pm after I get home from all my running with my kids still no water. I will be there at 7am when they open.
I had been out of town working for months my water bill never changed, I turned the meter off while I was gone the bill was still 80.00 each month. They started back reading the meters but the only part of the bill that changed was the water, the sewage is suppose to be based off of the water consumption but I'm being charged the exact same price. I guess it's time to get the News crew back out here maybe they can get down to the bottom of it.
Mother passed away in July 1-16. The bill for water was not forwarded to estate lawyer. Left in limbo. Years later trying to sell the house. To turn on the water the bill was 1.500.00. They said it had to be paid even if it was in her name of the deceased ,to get water on. Under law they cannot charge The Inheritance of the property . But to sell the property had to get water turned on.Telling them I am just the executor of the property and showing court papers with a court seal . They still said no..? How can a water bill add up to 1.500.00 which I had to pay due to a time frame , 7 days. The extra was for not paying the bill and late fees in 2 years even when water was turned off for 2 years
