Cute little shop and lots of tasty things to try! Staff was extremely helpful in answering all of my random questions and could literally tell me what the ingredients were in every single thing I pointed at. A lot to choose from!
Visited this week while on holiday. Absolutely loved the homity pie, would love to know if these would be delivered. We also thought the pork pie was amazing with pastry so crunchy just as I like it. Thank you
After sighing in disbelief at the sight of the massive queue down the street to get in to The Old Original shop, we stumbled on this shop literally around the corner with no queue, a great Covid-19 safety setup and extremely friendly staff. The puddings were great, and definitely as good as the ones from the other shop round the corner that we tried on our last visit. If you're in Bakewell and want a pudding, come straight here for a great product and friendly experience.
We visited Bakewell because of the TV program. Also it is my favorite dessert. After walking around in the town we wanted to buy family souvenirs and definitely had to be a bakewell tart. After walking through many shops, we chose this shop and bought the bakewell tart and pudding. Staff in the shop were quick service. Personally I love the tart more than pudding because it had the aroma of almond and was not very sweet.
