I wonder what it'd be like to drive a open top car in summer afternoon on this route? Because I drove here in a typical winter overcast day and still had to stop plenty of times to take pictures. I'm surprised why old Top Gear never tested a car here. It'd have been an obvious choice for a best driving road on British Isles anyway. According to some, there are some more inland roads that run parallel to the coastal road with more twists and turns. Apparently that's more scenic but I've driven here only once in wintry conditions so maybe next time because it has be done both ways in full circle on sunny day to get the best out of it.

Beautiful and amazing so well worth the narrow roads. Take the scenic route rather than the coast road. It's long and narrower but so beautiful. Enjoy.

We hired a car while visiting NI. And as we were staying in Belfast. We first drove to Giant Causeway and other attractions. Then we drove back using the Causway coastal route. You can stop on the way and take in the beautiful scenery.
