Dr. Gratz was the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. He had trouble explaining my daughters to epilepsy to me leaving me with so many unanswered questions. My daughter also has a hard time with men due to some personal issues and she wanted to switch doctors. When explaining this to Dr. Gratz, he told me that my child just needed to “get over it.” And told me that he would see us back in 3 months. I couldn’t believe that a doctor, kids doctor at that, would be so rude and non compassionate. Some of the front desk staff are rude and won’t even acknowledge you when standing in front of them. And every time I call due to my daughter having a seizure or some other issue, nobody ever answers the phone. I will NOT be returning to this practice. The only person who seemed like they cared was the nurse. Everyone else is not a caring or professional person.

While Dr. Gratz has been a good physician for our children, we have been surprised by the lack of professionalism from his staff, especially those in the front office. I can only imagine that they have become jaded by overwhelming parents with sometimes urgent issues. As parents of a special needs child, weo are accustomed to working with a myriad of physicians and their staff. The individuals working in Dr Gratz’s front office do a disservice to his profession in a way I’ve never seen until now. I will be looking for an equally qualified neurologist with a less derisive staff.

I could write lengthy review explaining all of the things that I did not like about the medical care that my Son received today but I will keep it short. I guess I should have said LACK of medical care because he didn't give clear answers to my questions so I left that still confused about the medical issue my Son had. He was NOT kid friendly at ALL!! That's a huge No No!! Any pediatric physician should know how to properly engage a child in order to conduct a successful visit! If you went the mile to look up Dr.Gratz then please take my advice and do not a allow your child to be seen by him. You will regret it.

He does not have a mustache. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
