A simple but beautiful church nestled in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Apparently in 1549 the then vicar of St Michael's, the Rev. James Webbe was executed in Aylesbury for his part in leading a protest against the abolition of the Latin liturgy and other religious reforms.
