It’s a lovely family run business. Polite, decent staff. I have been here twice. Very affordable prices, a decent menu and the nicest family who runs it. It’s not the world’s best but it’s great in a deprived area. I intend to support it as long as I can. Thank you Ruscote Fish Bar.

Brought home some fish and chips from here. Absolutely disgusting. The chips were dry, brown and barely warm. Looks like they have been refried then gone cold again. Funny taste to the cod ( really not sure if it was cod!) batter thick in grease you could squeeze the fat from it, the fat itself tasted awful. Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Wish I could attach photo to show how bad these were. Waste of money. Service was not great either, barely a word from the man serving.

Disgusting hygiene and attitude, the man who served my partner clearly lacked good personal hygiene as he had to ask him to wash his hands as he failed to do so after serving the previous customer before us and after handling money , he was about to handle the food before he asked him to wash his hands. After this he got short with him and proceeded to get sarcastic with him and provide him with some of the worse most disrespectful service we have ever received. Our food tasted off we had to throw it away it was so bad, 100% will not be returning .
