I came to Banff desperate to hear God’s voice. Early Sunday morning out on the streets, not inclined to go to church at all, I prayed for supernatural guidance. Led by the Spirit I went here to present myself as a weak human to my Creator. Not expecting much. This unpretentious place of worship with these honest and normal welcoming people was like entering the temple of the living God. Every prayer, scripture and song was like a word spoken from Heaven. The pastor obviously had heard from God and delivered an unusual and specific biblical message about Moses’ failed marriage that spoke an exact answer to my painful marriage problems and gave me the needed direction for my life I was seeking. Truly this is the house of God, a gateway to heaven. A place to guide a person into God’s grace.
