For starters, the view while dining is amazing. Had brunch on the window-side and saw a gorgeous view of the mountain range around Banff. The waitress was very kind, attentive, and fast. The service was exceptional. You could hear the cohesion of the kitchen working together; it was amazing. I had the steak and eggs cooked perfectly medium and sunny-side respectively. Friends had the potato leek soup and stuffed french toast and said they were amazing. Overall, quality service and excellent food makes the Juniper Bistro a must-try for visitors and foodies alike.

Excellent brunch spot located adjacent to the Juniper Hotel, roughly 5 minutes from downtown Banff. The food here was delicious, and views from a restaurant don't get much better than the breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains you'll get from the patio here. I went on a Monday, so getting a table wasn't a problem. You can make reservations online, but you can't specify the patio, so whether you get a seat outside is up in the air. That said, there are windows throughout the restaurant, so you can still see outside regardless of where you're sitting. My girlfriend and I tried to the Salmon Benny and the Juniper Benny, respectively. The latter was particularly delicious - with bannock, rabbit, and juniper berries smothered with a creamy hollandaise sauce, it's definitely a unique dish that is well worth trying. That said, the Salmon was also tasty. To top it off, the service was prompt and friendly, and our waiter even gave us some suggestions of things to do in the area! Fantastic experience overall, and highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was swift and friendly. Mountain views were framed by large picture windows and utterly breathtaking. Tucked away from the bustle of Banff downtown, Juniper Bistro has a menu that satisfies the foodie in all of us. We were there for brunch, mimosas and all. We'll definitely be back, especially because we didn't get a chance to sample dessert. If the weather permits, you could have your end-of-meal bevvie sitting on an Adirondack on their patio, taking in more of those sweet sweet views.

Don't let the low-key décor fool you, this place produces some seriously delicious dishes! The stuffed French Toast was a knock-out along with their regular two-egg breakfast. Home-made preserves and local fare provided a great sense of place. The shakshuka was visually appealing but lacked slightly in flavour and authenticity. THE VIEW! Try to arrive early to secure a good table. Reservation recommended (ask for a window seat in the reso notes).

Great Vistas of the Bow Valley, Banff Centre, the Springs, Rundle etc... Food is totally Awesome for a reasonable price. The great work of whoever is responsible for converting the old run down Timberline into this gem. Well managed and great service Nicole. DMack
