My family and I have been going to Banff for many years. Unfortunately I can no longer support the TOWN of Banff itself, only the surrounding area. The Town of Banff not only forces you to wear masks outdoors, which is ridiculous, but the citizens are now blaming tourists for their most recent spike in \cases\ and shaming the very people that support their businesses and economy. My best suggestion to anybody sick and tired of this fiasco, is to visit the surrounding area of Banff as it's beautiful, but avoid the town itself. (Canmore is a better choice) It is extremely overpriced anyway. One only needs to see the comments from the locals on social media to see what I'm talking about. It's time for people to start voting with their dollars. The nonsense has gone on long enough. Be a true Canadian and do your part to bring back Canada.

Beautiful and peaceful town with amazing views and food. They are forcing people to wear face masks on banff premisses (open air) which kinda sucks. I understand if its mandatory indoors but open air and wearing a mask?? I visited BC vancouver and whistler where it was totally different where it’s recommended but not forced. Overall, its a beautiful place to enjoy and visit with good people around and in service industry.
