Has brought about and continues to bring about many positive changes within the community! From transforming an MTA dumping ground into a beautiful community garden and creating a plaza for community members to have a place to socialize, to creating programs to encourage female empowerment and to assist immigrants in assimilating to their new environment, BACDYS has really defined what it means to serve the community.

I have volunteered at BACDYS for about 3 years and it really is a great organization and community. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They provide a lot of programs that help not only the Asian community but anyone in need. They also provide programs that push equal rights between men and women, along with a service known as phone banking where we make calls to minorities in our community to go out and vote so their voices can be heard.
