和顺有厚重的名人文化，以艾思奇故居为代表，位于和顺乡水碓村，是中西合壁的四合院，极为精致。西楼和厅楼上陈列着艾思奇的生平事迹。艾思奇原名李生萱，191O年2月就诞生在水碓村。其父李曰垓是辛亥革命的元老，追随孙中山先生革命。艾思奇于1935年加入中国共产党，1937年奔赴延安，建国后曾任中共中央高级党校哲学教研室主任、副校长。艾思奇是影响广泛的著名马克思主义哲学家
