I've lived in 6 states over the past 60 years and have lost track of the number of dentists I've seen. For the past year or two I've been receiving my dental care from Dr. Resnick and I have been very impressed with her gentle touch and great attention to detail. She carefully assess all aspects of your care and you always feel that she places emphasis on providing the proper treatment, rather than simply maxing out the profits. Her dental hygenist is easily the best one who has ever cleaned my teeth. Gentle on the gums, extremely thorough, and she explains procedures clearly and in a personable and friendly manner. The office itself is well designed, extremely clean and well organized, the dental equipment top quality and up to date. The decor has a simple elegance not often found in medical offices complete with attractive local paintings and art. All in all the sort of place you look forward to visiting...even if you have to get a filling!

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Reznik of Bar Harbor Dental Group for fitting me into her schedule during the busy holiday season and for expertly diagnosing and addressing my tooth/bite problem. Knowing that I was heading out of the country soon, she went above and beyond in offering me care within my time constraints. I really enjoyed talking with Dr. Reznik during my visit and listening to her clear explanations of what she was doing each step of the way; Dr. Reznik is a skilled and compassionate dentist who clearly cares about her patients. I am fortunate to have found my way to her. She has my highest recommendation.
I went to this dentist because I thought I had a mouth infection that I should get checked on. When I called on Thursday afternoon after I was not feeling well to see if I could be seen on Friday. They said it would be fine but the dentist is not schdusche usually but will come in. I said ok thank you. That was a good start. When I arrived the dentist remindedrme filleafter ei began to thank her for coming in shessays I should notnbe here I had something scheduled. IIwas startled by that since I thanked her so much. I then began to do paperwork since I have never been there before. The I I was examined by the dentist who I thought had nice intentions..she says she does not know for certain what I have but thinks I need blood work by a primary care physician to see if I have some disease. Then after asking questions examining me we check out. Thank God I had insurance but my co pay was very high the.ln usual. I almost had a heartattak. Thankfully I had the money to pay. Winter months are rough. I go to the regusl doctor to find I just have an infection and prescribed me antibiotics. But when I got home I looked at my receipt from this dentist office and see a 175 dollar charge for coming in on her day off. First off nobody let me know I would be charged that fee. NOTHING WAS MENTIONED at the time of booking or at the visit. The dentist could of let me know before hand because it was alot of money even with my good insurance. I will never go back here. She is a theift and could of had the audacity to let me know of that fee before I even came to the office. Bad service.
