He said that she was the go-to person for great portrait photos, and that she had even been asked to photograph president Clinton. This woman is a complete nightmare to work for. I never write bad reviews about people but after interning with her and then taking a job with her totaling a year of experience under this woman I am compelled. I heard from everyone that she was "difficult" and I was up for the challenge, or so I thought. She belittles her team, yells at them once clients have left, blames them for her photography errors. On top of that she refuses to pay you what you are owed if you dare quit after one of her explosions. To this day she still owes me 600.00 and other money as well who have worked for her. If that is not enough she will get her lawyer friend to write a statement threatening you if you speak out against her. The lack of professionalism to her staff is a black mark on our industry. As for her photography, it is "fine" depending on who she has editing her images. She is so well connected within Sarasota because she has been there so long. There are better photographers in the area who will provide you with modern, sophisticated touches and who will treat their staff and their clients with respect and professionalism. I suggest you go to one of them. If you are planning on working for her, ask around the ringing campus or other local photographers first, you will get the truth!
