This was easily the strangest initial call that I have ever had with an attorney - so much so, that it prompted my first ever review. I called to try to establish a relationship with a Florida attorney to help settle the estate of my brother, who owned some land there. I tried to ask some initial questions like \where do I begin...\. I was quickly shut down and told that they do not offer free legal advice and that I would need to pay 385 per hour if I wanted to discuss anything with them. I can tell you that I am definitely NOT looking for free legal advice. I am, however, looking to establish a relationship with an attorney during a difficult time. I just wanted to learn what my first steps should be with the full expectation of hiring a competent attorney to help lead the way. I have never come across an attorney that wanted to charge me to simply have an initial conversation. I cannot speak to much to the overall competency of Ms. Pizzolato. But, I can say this... bring your wallet.

We first attended Barbara’s group presentation and realized that we needed to set up a trust in order to protect our assets and know that we were ready for future changes. Our next step was to meet with Barbara to review our next steps. This meeting was packed with information essential to our assembling of needed documents. Barbara was very focused and guided us through this with patience and understanding This meeting gave us direction and guidance in making major decisions as we moved forward with our family trust. We felt well informed, understood and prepared for assembling all elements of our trust. Now we have our trust, our assets are protected, and all of our important documents are organized.
