We really enjoyed renting out the paddle boats and going along the alster. A small bar on the promenade too so you can enjoy a cool drink on a hot day

We did the sunset sailboat cruise, it was lovely. Definitely a great thing to do at the end of a hot day. Wind was low so our trip was very calm and relaxing, I imagine it is just as fun when the winds are stronger, maybe also a little more exciting. The skipper was very friendly and reassuringly practiced at handeling a boat full of people with (mostly) no experience on boats, he also spoke excellent English.
