Some interesting work but difficult to digest in extra filled rooms. Intense in a bad way for space sensitive crowd. The building being the best of the tour

A very complete, varied, interesting selection of local contemporary art in a great building. Well worth a visit.
The awesomest part of this museum was the actual architecture of the building. It was quiet for a Sunday afternoon but as i strolled the cement and glass hallways with my sweetheart by my side I discovered a few gems among the hundreds of works. There is definitely a sense of Catalonian pride. All of the artists are local and painting/sculpting for a Spanish audience. The bathrooms are gender neutral and you can get a decent espresso from a coin operated vending machine on the third floor. Worth the 7 euros (2 euros if you can prove that you are a professor or are on the dole).
They should do something about the homeless people living on the premises. It's disgusting.
Great place, away from the city center. Really worth the trip
