I ordered braised leg of lamb. I got a braised leg of lamb and one cold potato. No herds on the lamb, no garlic, just salt on lamb braised. Then I saw how much it cost me. The cold potato cost 4 Totalling 24. Places like this survive the pandemic cause they really over charge their customers. Just to add, the lamb itself was very tender. Hence the one star.

Asador de Aranda is excellent place and experience to visit in Barcelona. We had: Chorizos a la Olla, Croquetas de Jamon and Entrecot. For Desert: Hojaldre relleno con crema pastelera y nata. The rosé wine from the house is perfect for the food. Carlos attended us amazing giving great advices.

This is the second time I ate cochinillo here in Barcelona so I have something to compare this experience with. The decor is beautiful and elegant inside. As far as service - they staff is absolutely amazing. We were offered complimentary glasses of champagne and olives. When we ordered drinks, they would pour the liquor in front of you. (I.e my friend ordered Campari - they bought out a glass off ice and poured a heavy pour. Kudos to that) Appetizers: variety of chorizo was great - it was sliced and pan fried so you definitely get that crisp. The blood sausage was different - not so bad. The eggplant mousse had a smoky taste - kind of like baba gannoush. Fried egg with jamon and truffles on top of fries- please get this!! You won't regret it. Now down to the main entree: Cochinillo - it was great but I've had better. I was hoping for a crispier pork skin but it was kind of soft. Suckling lamb - delicious but so many bones and not as much meat and a bit pricey too. Then we were given complimentary chupitos and some sort of dessert. If you're looking for another place that has amazing cochinillo- check out Yanter de la Ribera. The skin is so crispy and meat so tender that the server cuts it with a plate instead of a knife.
