Excellent croissants and coffee, many other very tasty quality cakes and bites. Always welcoming, and a pleasure to visit.

Superb new look shop/cafe with home made breads, wonderful patisserie and wine shop with tasting - same friendly owners. QUALITY!

A plate ,cutlery and serviette would be a nice touch when eating in. Payment technology not up to much either.

The best place to eat, drink and relax. The service is outstanding and you are always made to feel so welcomed. It is the best place in town and one I visit every week. Thanks for always looking after us and the dog.

Called in on Friday 23rd August around 3pm. Used to know Simon & Robert when they ran the Spotted Dog at High Coniscliffe a few years ago. I thought the bistro was faultless and the wine was excellent. Most of all Val my wife and myself thought it would be a great place to frequent on a Friday/ Saturday evening and duly booked. These are lovely guys whose hospitality is second to none and deserve every success in their venture.

Food was fine, service however was very poor, twice I was stopped at the door because I had a child with me and questioned about where he would sit. Certainly not child friendly. The last visit I made I ordered a glass of wine and was told I couldn't have it without a meal as "were not a pub" tried three times, won't be trying again.
