1st time i took my son to hospital because he fractured his wrist i got seen by a male doctor for a follow up made me feel worse going out than i did going in. He was so rude. And today i got a call from a man from Barnsley hospital and the call lasted no longer than 3 minutes regarding my son who on countless occasions kept calling him she. When i mentioned \he\ and again the man who called was so abrupt and rude.

I have always found the A&E staff extremely kind & with a high level of understanding. Naturally in such a busy environment a little patience is expected with waiting times. Having attended numerous times, especially with elderly parents they have shown excellent care & concern over the years. Please note during Covid restrictions visiting is strictly through special arrangement only and entry to A&E is only accessible via the outdoors route...& no longer through internal corridors (this could be directed better for visitors not arriving with the ambulance service).

I was a Day Patient today the 27th October In the ENT Department. What a positive experience it proved to be. I cannot praise them enough, not only for the way they went about their business in a highly professional manner but also their wonderful caring approach to their patients including myself. It was easy to see that their spirit has not been dampened by all the difficulties they have and are still encountering this year. Well done to all of you in the department and Thank You so much for making a difficulty day so positive.
