Village pub vibe but definitely not your typical village pub kitchen! Fantastic food with even better service. Would highly recommend the duck salad and the orange wine on the menu.

Absolutely delicious food, a genuine and helpful team and a clear focus on being an ethical local business. The cod and chorizo stew was authentic and could easily have been Basque. The vegetable gratin was exactly what you'd enjoy in the Dordogne and the local craft ale washed it all down nicely. Highly recommend, over other, less local-feeling pubs nearby.
Really authentic old pub but with a modern feel. The food us absolutely spot on and presented excellently. The staff are really lovely, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this place. Super!
Absolutely loved it here! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection and the service was impeccable. The team were really professional and friendly, yet efficient. Definitely recommend it. We had the cheese souffle and Asian duck to start, the plaice and sea bass for mains and the apple crumble for dessert. All were fantastic.
We had a great visit. The pub has some circular walks of varying lengths detailed on the website so we did a few of these before going for lunch. The food was really good, best mussels I've had for a long time. Service was perfect too. They've got a really nice outdoor area so it was a shame it was raining but would certainly like to visit again in summer and try some more of their walks.
